The Committee met in Luxembourg on 14 April 2016, it was a great opportunity for committee members to be able to view the UPC Court of Appeal building at Nouvel Hémicycle, 1, rue du Fort Thüngen.
At its last meeting the Preparatory Committee agreed the Rules on Court fees and recoverable costs for the UPC.
The Preparatory Committee also agreed the Guidelines for the determination of Court fees and the ceiling of recoverable costs of the successful party, and these can be found here.

The Committee held its thirteenth meeting at the Italian permanent representation of the European Union, December 7-8. The meeting started with the election of a new Chair and Vice Chair.
At its last meeting the UPC Preparatory Committee adopted the Rules of Procedure of the Unified Patent Court, subject to some further adaptations once the Committee has decided on the court fees. This is a major milestone in the progress of the Committee's work.
