Full Bio Anna Hedberg has been appointed to the Court in July 2023. Her technical focus is in the following areas: chemistry, pharmaceuticals and biochemistry. Professional experience in Intellectual PropertyShe joined the Swedish Patent and Registration Office in 1989, where she worked as a patent examiner. In 2009 she was appointed senior patent examiner and until leaving the Patent Office she was responsible for the development of case law in in the division of organic chemistry and pharmaceutics. In 2016 she was appointed as a technical judge at the Patent and Market Court in Stockholm District Court. She is a member of a panel dealing with patent cases regarding e.g. infringement, revocation and preliminary injunction.
